Mahsa Foroughi

I am a sessional academic in architecture at the School of Built Environment, University of New South Wales. I studied architect and have a great devotion to short story, poetry, and philosophy. I have completed my doctoral thesis recently with a focus on an interdisciplinary study of architecture and the concept of time that uses Andrei Tarkovsky’s films as a case study for exploring the aesthetic possibilities and subjective experiences of temporality in built environments. My true passion is poetry through which I ply and play on the downsides of living in a world of war, anxieties, and social injustices.
