Monash University Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing
Monash University in conjunction with the Emerging Writers’ Festival is pleased to present the Monash Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing, a prestigious prize for emerging literary voices.
Winners will be announced at the launch of The Emerging Writer on Thursday 30 May at Fitzroy Town Hall from 6.30pm. The event is free but bookings are essential. Visit the event page for more information.
First prize: $4000
Highest placed Monash University student: $1000
Judges: Hannah Kent (Burial Rights ), Dr Melinda Harvey (Monash University) and Julia Carlomagno (Scribe Publishing).
All shortlisted entries will be published by Penguin in ebook form as a Penguin Special.
